More about this outreach:
We will be joining people from around the world to “Plant Together” in Senegal. It all begins with a four-day orientation camp near Dakar, with international and local African speakers, helping you get your heart clean and your hands dirty. Then teams will head up north for one week of planting trees in Africa’s “Great Green Wall. You’ll eat native food, work hard and maybe even learn a few words of Wolof as you share your life and your sweat with other Africans. During a second week, you will be partnering with local charitable organizations, working with street children, manning a health clinic, visiting villagers hut-to-hut, or doing children´s camp and Sunday school programs with local churches.
Special Conditions: All members of your team should be in reasonable health and good physical condition. Planting involves strenuous labor in warm climate conditions. Appropriate visas and vaccinations, malaria tablets, etc., are the responsibility of each participant.
Looking forward to partnering with you and together seeing restoration take place in Africa!
